Charles Lee Ray may have mastered the art of the exorcism — but is he ready for the perils of D.C. politics? Everyone’s friend ’til the end and audiences alike will find out when Chucky Season 3 premieres on SYFY and USA Network on Oct. 4.
In an NSFW tongue-in-cheek news conference, Chucky climbs atop a podium and tells the gathered press to quiet down.
“I’m here to announce to you dips—- that Season 3 of my show, Chucky, will return on Oct. 4. And I will not rest until every single one of you f—ers watch it,” he says in the above video.
The press, of course, immediately hound him for further details.
When one reporter asked him what the season is about, Chucky had this to say: “D.C. is gonna get chucked up.”
Will Devon Sawa — who has appeared in the previous two seasons in three different roles — be in Season 3? He’s not sure who that is.
(Editor’s note: It’s cute that they think Chucky gives two s–ts about Devon Sawa.)
And what about all the other famous horror dolls that have been getting movies? (A doll named M3GAN comes to mind.)
“I’d say this is not a movie. I already did seven movies. This is a TV show. What kind of a sh—y question is that?” Chucky responds.
Chucky is a continuation of the iconic Child’s Play film franchise chronicling the murderous escapades of the notorious killer doll. In the TV series, Chucky crosses paths with archenemies, old allies, and new prey as he seeks to inspire fear and mayhem wherever he goes. After his diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was foiled in Season 1, Chucky now seeks revenge on those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), along with his ex Tiffany, now his sworn enemy. After having escaped their new Catholic school, can “Jevon” keep their relationship alive and best Chucky once and for all — this time in the nation’s capitol?
Chucky Season 3 begins its term on SYFY and USA Network on Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, streaming next day on Peacock.

Chucky will keep killing it after the series was renewed for a third season.
The series, which is based on the classic film franchise, returns to both USA Network and Syfy for its third run.
The second season premiered in October and ran through the end of November. NBCU said that the show ranked as a top ten drama last year in the 18-49 demo.
It follows the murderous escapades of the notorious killer doll. Chucky crosses paths with archenemies, old allies and new prey, as he seeks to inspire fear and mayhem wherever he goes. After his diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was foiled in season one, Chucky now seeks revenge on those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), along with his ex Tiffany, now his sworn enemy. Meanwhile, can “Jevon” make it as a couple in the face of adversity at their new Catholic school, not to mention a brand-new onslaught of terror from the demon doll?
Chucky is produced by UCP and exec produced by Don Mancini, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, David Kirschner and Jeff Renfroe.
“The cast and crew of Chucky would like to thank fans and critics alike for their overwhelming response to season two, which we’re delighted to announce has now spurred the official greenlight on season three. This news has made Chucky very happy. Thank Damballa for that because otherwise Chucky would have been frankly impossible to deal with. Many thanks also to our partners at SYFY, USA and UCP for helping us keep Chucky busy. See you in 2023 for what Chucky himself promises will be his scariest season ever,” said Don Mancini.

The Baby-Sitters Club breakout Momona Tamada and Alyvia Alyn Lind (Coat Of Many Colors) are set for heavily recurring roles opposite Lyon Daniels, Noah Cottrell and Christian Slater in Disney+’s live-action series The Spiderwick Chronicles.
Based on the popular series of bestselling books by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black, The Spiderwick Chronicles is a contemporary American gothic coming-of-age story that addresses kids and families dealing with mental health issues among other relevant topics. Upon leaving New York and moving to Michigan and into their run-down ancestral home—The Spiderwick Estate—with their mother, twin brothers Jared (Daniels) and Simon (Cottrell) Grace, along with their sister Mallory, find themselves pulled into an alternate, fantastical world.
Tamada will play Emiko. A local teenager in Henson, she’s a member of the out-patient group therapy at the Meskwaki Psychiatric Hospital. Diagnosed as a pathological liar it’s hard to know when she is telling the truth, but it’s clear that as a townie she has also grown-up hearing about the mysterious goings-on at the Spiderwick Estate and is curious about its newest resident, Jared Grace (Daniels).
Lind will portray Calliope. On the outside she is a perfectly normal girl, but that is only her exterior. She is in fact a Fetch (a portent of death) who has taken this disguise to be able to stay close to the evil ogre, Mulgarath (Slater), and assist in his quest to find Spiderwick’s Field Guide.
In addition to Daniels, Cottrell and Slater, cast also includes Mychala Lee as Mallory Grace and Joy Bryant as Helen Grace.
Kat Coiro will direct the first two episodes of the series, a modern coming-of-age story combined with fantasy adventure, produced by Paramount Television Studios and 20th Television. Aron Eli Coleite (Locke & Key) is showrunner and exec produces with Coiro, Holly Black, Tony DiTerlizzi, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell, D.J. Goldberg, Julie Kane-Ritsch and Grace Gilroy.
Known for her role as Claudia Kishi in Netflix’s The Baby-Sitters Club, Tamada most recently can be seen starring in Paramount’s action feature Secret Headquarters opposite Owen Wilson and Michael Peña. Her additional credits include the role of young Lara Jean in Netflix’s To All The Boys franchise, as well as The Main Event, AMC’s The Terror and Amazon’s The Boys. She can next be seen in Netflix’s anticipated live action series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Tamada is repped by da Costa Talent Management and Echo Lake Entertainment.
Lind is best known for her portrayal of Dolly Parton on NBC telefilm Coat Of Many Colors, and in the follow-up Christmas of Many Colors: Circle Of Love. She recently wrapped on the anticipated USA/Syfy series Chucky in the role of Lexy Cross, and she is also a series regular in the popular, post-apocalyptic Daybreak currently streaming on Netflix. Lind is repped by CAA, Coast to Coast Talent Group and Brecheen Feldman Breimer Silver Thompson.
